Accidentals
All signs for raising or depressing letters that are not found in the signature.
The signs of chromatic alteration, employed in music to show that the notes to which they are applied have to be raised or lowered a semitone or a tone. They are five in number, the sharp (Fr. diese, Ger. Kreuz) and double sharp (Fr. double-diese, Ger. Doppelkreuz), which being placed before a note raise it respectively a semitone or a tone; the flat (Fr. bemol, Ger. Be) and double flat (Fr. double-bemol, Ger. Doppelbe), which cause the note to be lowered to the same extent; and the natural (Fr. becarre, Ger. Quadrat), which is applied to an already chromatically altered note in order to restore it to its original position.

Eu queria saber isso para compreender melhor lições de video-aulas em inglês, e não só por curiosidade pura e simples amigo...A maioria absoluta do material que você encontra na internet é em inglês, ou seja, é absolutamente nescessário conhecer bem os termos guitarristicos nessa lingua para o bom aproveitamento desse material.

Sou muito mais, Xustenido e Bemouuu, muito mais musical nossa lingua portuguesa, nem se compara com esses yankees caras-pálidas americanos

outra coisa interessante é que eles não dão nome às notas, usam só as letras mesmo...
aqui seria: dó (C), ré (D), mi (E), etc...
lá não tem essa, é só C, D, E, F, etc... acho que acaba sendo bem mais prátco...
