A Roland divulgou a nova placa de expansão para os Fantom-G.
ARX-3 Brass
Vou colocar o post em inglês, sem paciência pra traduzir.
"ARX-03 Brass Expansion:
The ARX-03 let's you create custom brass sections with as many as six players. The board combines all new samples, SuperNATURAL technology and modeling technology. Each player is assigned their own instrument and customized with their own accuracy of musicianship and personality of performance.
This is a very amazing board. Each horn can be tweaked to have the underblowing, noise, even spit noise that comes with how a real horn player articulates. So you can assemble really tight ensembles or more loser groups or solo horns.
Plus the board will do intelligent voicings based on the instrument groups you assemble.
The "player" is the starting point within in the ARX-03. Each player can be assigned a type of instrument to play. There are eight instrument types to choose from and each type has different variations: Trumput, Mute Trumpet, Flugel Horn, Trombone, Soprano Sax, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax and Baritone Sax. Up to six players can be created altogether.
Each player has it's own parametric EQ settings, so sounds can individualized or blended to gether in the section.
Each player is then given it's own accuracy, "personality", turbid, growl and noise.
"Section", let's you designate how all the players interact with each other as you play. The ARX-03 can automatically arrange the players in real-time based on the notes you play either as a stack or as individual parts. The Section can be directed to play normally, staccato, fall or "doit". Each player can have their own transposition and fine tuning and individual amounts of vibrato. Staccato, Fall or Doit are routed to the Fantom-G's controllers.
The ARX-03 includes a dedicated mixer for each player (with automation). Level, pan and effects can be set as well as each player's individual EQ settings. There's also a Master EQ for the entire horn section. The ARX-03 also provides multi-effects process that can be applied to each player in the section, as well as a studio quality reverb processor. "

De todos os lançamentos que vi , o unico q me chamou a atenção foi o VP 770 ....... mas nao tem video/audio demos......
Pelo que ele foi designado tem que ser bom ,,,,,, mas se for só um "vocoder" melhorado ,,,,,,, bela porcaria . Vamos esperar pelas demos.

bom, a função primordial do vp-550 é vocoder mesmo e quase nada mais.....
acho que este não vai fugir muito da mesma função não!
quanto a placa, eu até que acho que o fantom g precisa de uma melhorada nos brass (embora eu nem use) e com certeza essa placa deve fazer o serviço.
talvez apareça alguma outra (string se deus quiser- quanto mais melhor!!) no musikmesse .
espero que sim, estou na expectativa. se aparecer uma atualização também vou ficar feliz!
